Goullu Time

When I started blogging I think I had more enthu and was scribbling something continuously and now a small gap….

Its Gollu and Sundal Time!!!
From my school days I always like this gollu a lot…may be its because of our mom that we all had more interest..we would keep all bommai and a whole room would be dedicated for gollu…
In every Gollu the most famous bommai sets are Dasavatharam(not the Kamal movie),Ashta Lakshmi,Ramar set,Meenakshi kalyanam,Venkatchalapathy….
I feel that this Gollu is also a good occasion for coming generation so that they will get to learn some important Characters and stories when they are totally into the upcoming modern fast food and mechanical life…..
The main part in keeping Gollu is setting up a Park..My sister(elder) would show more intrestJ She would arrange some park, Moutains and even open air Theatre…
I still remember the open air theatre we had set when the Film Asai had released…
For the greeneries in park we would put some mustard seeds and wait for it to grow…
And once we had even set a fountain…My sister read it in some book and she did it..
Those were all pleasant experience….Also the sundal Experience…Mom will do sundals daily and there would be big crowd of children for that..

And this time I think I had some interest for Gollu…We had set a park @ home..
Really Karthik helped me a lot for that though he was not much interested…
He had come for shopping for getting all those park things..kutti car, bus, bushes and all…
He laid out a plan for the park…….
We arranged a Park, Farm House, Palani malai and a Zoo…….but only sad thing is that the mustard seed that we had put did’nt turn up……..
And I really love to go a round to see different Gollu’s and their decorations..
All that happened..it was coolllllll…

And now we are ready to start our North India tour..And me very busy in packing….
Will be back in a week and will share my experience……….

Winning Moments:)

Jevan safal hoova!!world championship after 23 years!!!!

I’m neither a regular Cricket spectator nor Cricket Fan. I do get to watch some important matches (especially Finals!!).Rest of all I only read or get to know from Karthi.

But yesterday’s match I desperately wanted to watch. I read the scores from net when India was playing. I only watched the last 10 overs when Pakistan played. For the first time got to watch it in a crowd or with big gathering in Bigggggg screen.Vow..i enjoyed a lot..
The sounds made by them…everyone one was more excited…Its really good to see such a excited crowd wishing Our country to win:) and cheering up… ..

The target set was not too far to reach. Still our guys made it to happen with their excellent bowling and fielding. For a change this time fielding gave us a hand where in most of the times we are always reliant on the Batsman
The match was going on well. Irfan Pathan did a real good job. He offered no boundaries.
And the last over was much beleaguered. It was a good option to make Joginder bowl the last over about which Dhoni narrated after the win.

Chak De India:)

Chak De

Got to watch the movie ‘Chak De’..its worth watching..
For a change Sharukh is not bubbly and doing romance…looking stern and determined…
In the earlier scenes could get to know the hard feelings of a player who is ill treated.
Then the player proves himself as a coach accomplishing the mission impossible. ie World championship of women’s hockey team!!
Especially in the scene where players introduce themselves, not only the patriotism is insisted also it’s portrayed well that players should set well as a single team.
Casting is so good and also the screenplay. Movie is not boring at any time even if it only revolves around the playground, game and players. People who really are not much interested in Hockey or sports can also enjoy the film.
The climax scenes (Finals between India and Australia) are moving captivatingly though we know what is going to happen at the end.

Traffic Sense!!

Do we all have Traffic awareness?? Are we all least bothered about that..
All simple things which we can keep in mind so that we don’t disturb others

Let me list a few which bothers me a lot…

Head lights in vehicles. When you travel in the night you can see many (almost every one) driving with a high beam light in the city roads.
I believe we are supposed to use the high beam light only in highways. But everyone uses the high beam light even when the roads are too crowded in both the directions.
And you are supposed to dim and dip the lights when there is vehicle coming in the opposite direction. This is just a common sense which is very much essential for any driver. Even the lorry drivers and truck drivers do all these things properly.
Only the car drivers and bike drivers never follow it. But these drivers are all well educated and working in very high positions. But Common sense while driving??
When you travel with high beam on your vehicle in a residential area or in a by-pass where there no much of lights in the road, for the persons driving in the opposite direction nothing is visible. They have to drive only with a probability and imagine if there is a person standing in the middle of the road when his or her bike is break down.
We cannot identify the guy or any animal standing in the middle of the road until you hit them. Many accidents can be avoided. Thank God that using helmets are mandatory now.
But what about wearing the seat belts in car. Even that has to be stressed a lot.

Not only in the Head lights issue even otherwise people lack in the traffic sense. Its not they don’t know but they don’t want to know. By chance if you are traveling in a residential route in order to avoid the traffic in the main roads then it is all your luck if you can successfully cross the road. Because those roads will be narrow and for sure the vehicles in the opposite direction will never wait for a second to allow you to go.
And if you are so broad minded and you stop the vehicle letting the opposite direction person to come then that’s it!! You’ve to stand in the same place for next half an hour.
No one will care you. They have place so they will keep driving. And in some places if you see there may be 2 four wheelers in an opposite direction standing in a place and finding solution how to move or who to move back. There you can see some two wheelers just passing through the gap in between the 2 four wheelers. They can’t even stop for few minutes till the traffic is cleared. So at this point the four wheelers can neither move in front as there are two wheelers passing in the inch gaps nor move back because there will be so many big vehicles standing in a queue without even leaving an inch gap. If people have some patience letting others then there won’t be any mess created. Two wheelers really need to take a lot of care. If the jam goes for long time they even don’t bother to jump from car to car and drive or fly…..

The next one is when you come out of a building or small road and enter in a main road I can tell that no one stops for a second to see on both sides. They just come out and join the road.

It is not that only you are in a hurry to reach and it’s everyone. So people need to have a bit broader mind and little common sense!!!! That can teach you a lot of traffic sense…..

Njoying the life!!!!

Are we all enjoying our life to the core…I always think that…..do we really adore our lifestyle…..I always feel that I’m running behind the time.

All 5 week days. I’ve nothing in my mind except for cooking and packing the lunch in the morning, Coming to office and start with my work targeting to leave early(as I’ve to travel lot) and when back to home preparing dinner and doing pre requisites for next day cooking…..so all the things that I’ve in my mind I use to list in a paper planning to finish it up in the week ends. But once the week end starts.. I really don’t know how it is moving. We anyway get into some other stuffs which comes as high priority….then when I take out my list it will be a Sunday evening and again postpone the list of things to do for next week end…….next week lists will also add upJ
Karthi use to comment me a lot for rushing up like this…yes even I feel the same..
I too think that I should live the life to its fullest and try to enjoy the each and every minute….For that i should try to develop some interests. Rather bring out my interests and try to implement them….

I always have had lot of interests and likings in my mind. but only thing is that i’ve never tried of implementing those...is it because that I’m lazy or very much worried about deviating my time from the routine….i don’t dare to deviate my time from the routine thinking it may end up in wasting of time...yes..i’ll be always rushing…I also see many people doing the same…But there is nothing wrong in spending some time for silly likings which boosts energy in between our mechanic life…..We may plan things such that they will not interrupt our routine…….
In that way i like to do some things...some I’ll try to accommodate in week days and some in week ends.. When getting up early, walking out and enjoy the early morning climate for few minutes.. Listening to my favorite music in between the cooker and chimney sound, reading when i travel ,spending some time in gardening in the week end, getting up only after 7 in the week ends, trying out some interior decorations, Trying out to cook some new dishes(how bad it may be, karthi is there to taste it with a smileJ),having a leisure tea on a Sunday evening after a afternoon nap, Calling my friends in the travel so that I don’t get lost in between them…going for a walk in the night with karthi…taking the moped and going around my local area to visit all petty shops(it really gives me more enthu as though I’m so independent as I drive the moped only in the weekends!!),watching a DVD or at least TV programs(I like to watch all Tamil,Telugu,Hindi and Malayalam Channels which others are not interested in)in the weekends, all this make me very happy even than a very big happening…….

So now I’m in the process of implementing these things in my life….Happy week end!!!!

Teacher's Day...

Today is Teacher’s day …It reminds me my school days. I think only in school we were very excited to wish our teachers on this day...
I still remember this day in my 10th class. My 10th class teacher is my favorite teacher. Not only for me but for most of the students in my school. That time we planned to get a Gift for her on this day. Nothing big but a Pen. It was our sudden plan. So we had to pool money immediately to get a good pen. It was not that easy. Because we won’t get much packet money in those days which is very common now. I’m not sure if this habit can be encouraged between parents and children.
Ok!!coming to my story...we somehow collected money. We got a pen and even gift wrapped it…then there was a big discussion between us like who will give this to her. So many ideas were coming in. We then decided that we’ll keep it in her table so that she is surprised when coming in and will be happy….All this all were our imaginations..
But what happened was different…..Teacher entered the class and she continued as usual with her teaching. She never showed a sign of looking the gift in her.....
We were all confused and just looking at one another faces thinking how could she miss to see the gift or why is she not responding…….
When class was about to over, we were so tensed and stoop up…..We wished her and asked her to open the gift. But she was not at all ready to accept it telling us to do well in the studies and that would be the great gift…
Finally we made her to accept. May be that could be the only gift she accepted from her students..
I was very happy that day…….
